Arrival at Palermo or Trapani Airport. Transfer to Hotel in Palermo/Trapani and check-in. Welcome drink and drink in Hotel. Overnight.
2° DAY TRAPANI/ERICE
Breakfast in hotel. Moving to Valderice to an ancient flour mill and start the cooking class dedicated to the preparation of Cous Cous and other traditional dishes of Trapani area runned by a professional chef. At the end of the lesson, it will be possible to eat what participants have prepared. After lunch, we will visit the medieval town of Erice, with final sweet tasting in one of the most famous “pasticceria” (cake shop). Finally, we will move to Mazara del Vallo to attend the traditional arrival of fishing boat at the pier and the following fish market. Dinner and overnight in hotel in Mazara del Vallo.
3° DAY MARSALA AND TRAPANI
Breakfast in hotel. Today we will move towards the so called Salt Road, a coastal way between Marsala and Trapani passing trough windmills and brightly salt mountains. From a little pier by boat, we will reach Mothya Island, a small island that was an Punic town and now a very important archaeological site. Lunch in a traditional restaurant nearby. In the afternoon visit of Florio winery of Marsala that includes a wine tasting. Back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
4° DAY END OF TOUR
Breakfast in hotel and check-out. In the morning a cooking class on Sicilian most traditional recipes held in a wonderful Vineyard between Palermo and Trapani. Just before starting, it will be possible to visit the winery and have a wine tasting of the local production. At the end of the lesson, the participants will eat what they prepared supervised by a professional chef. At the end, final transfer to Palermo or Trapani Airport on time for the return flight. End of service and…. Arrivederci Sicilia!
