In the afternoon proceed to Caltagirone “city of ceramics”. We will visit the historic center and the stairway of S. Maria del Monte, symbol par excellence of the city, consisting of 142 steps in lava, decorated with beautiful tiles of polychrome majolica enriched with floral and geometric designs. Stop for a visit to a typical ceramic workshop.
