Arrival in Catania and free transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon meeting with the tour guide and welcome cocktail. Dinner and overnight.


Departure and arrival in Mazzaro. Meeting with the boatman for a boat tour of Isola Bella, a small island connected to the mainland by a sandbar, a jewel of the Ionian coast. The day will continue to Taormina walking through the medieval streets of the city, for its beauty and magical position has attracted and inspired artists from around the world. In late morning start to reach a
cellar on the slopes of Etna, Europe’s highest active volcano, where you will taste the local DOC wines accompanied by Etna specialties. After the cellar, you will be taken up to 2,000 meters altitude, where you can enjoy a splendid view of Sicily and walk on the spectacular Monti Silvestri, small volcanic cones extinct since a century. In the evening return to your hotel for Catania and overnight.


In the morning in planned the street food tour of Catania looking not only for baroque treasures of historical centre but also the delicious local street food famous throughout Italy, from the “granite” early in the morning to the “arancino”at lunch time (due to the quantity and variety of street food, no lunch will be provided). Back to the hotel. In the afternoon transfer to a traditional agriturismo on the scope of Etna overlooking the Ionian Sea for the Sicilian Cooking Lesson dedicated to the main traditional dish of the Eastern Side of the Island. At the end, all the participants have prepared (supervised by a professional chef) will be eaten. Back to hotel in Catania and overnight.


Breakfast and departure to Syracuse, the largest and most beautiful Greek colony in Sicily (Unesco World Heritage Site). We will visit the Neapolis: the Greek Theatre , the Roman Amphitheatre, the Dionysiu’s Ear (that produces extraordinary acoustic effects) and Latomies . Then will move to Ortigia, with the famous Fountain of Arethusa, the splendid Cathedral , the Temple of Apollo , Saint Lucia to the Abbey in which tou can find the famous Caravaggio. During the visit to the Cathedral, in the splendid setting of the archbishopric , there will be a meeting with one of the most famous Chef in Syracuse, who will reveal the secrets of preparing cannoli and Sicilian granita . Lunch in a fish restaurant . In the afternoon transfer to one of the most famous Sicilian wineries for the quality of the wines: the winery Buonivini Planeta, where the strong links between the territory and local tradition are also apparent in the production of the wine. Nero d’Avola and Moscato Bianco vines are cultivated at Buonivini tasting wines and we’ll taste them accompanied by snacks Sicilians. In the evening, accommodation in hotel **** in Syracuse / surroundings for dinner and overnight stay


Breakfast in hotel. In the morning you will visit Noto , the most famous baroque town in Sicily (Unesco World Heritage) , known for its beautiful cathedral, recently restored after the devastating earthquake in the 90s. Called Garden of Stones, the city is full of splendid buildings and churches : the Church of St. Francis Immaculate , Church of St. Clare, Church of the Holy Saviour, Palazzo Ducezio ,the Cathedral of Noto, the Church of San Carlo , Via Nicolaci dell’
Infiorata headquarters of Noto, Palazzo Nicolaci Villadorata , Montevergini Church , Church of St.Dominic, Teatro Comunale, Piazza XVI Maggio and Fountain of Hercules. Return to hotel for lunch. In the afternoon transfer in a lemon grove where farmers cultivate the famous Limone di Siracusa IGP . The crew leader will introduce us to the secrets of the lemon harvest . After the harvest, ” Merenda Siciliana ” based on typical products in the lemon grove. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.


Breakfast and departure to Modica to discover one of the most famous Italian chefs cuisine Accursio Craparo, to learn the secrets of chocolate making , discover traditional recipes and taste the best Sicilian wines. After lunch guided tour of Modica built on the walls of a quarry of scenic grandeur. Don’t miss the beautiful churches that makes the city another jewel of Sicilian Baroque: St. George, St. John , St. Peter. After the visit to Modica hotel accommodation and dinner. After dinner evening stroll in Ragusa Ibla, full of beautiful buildings and Baroque churches. In the morning visit of the baroque city of Ragusa (Unesco World Heritage Site), rich in architectural treasures.


After breakfast departure for a visit to the beautiful and charming fishing village of Marzamemi, a small village built on a tiny Bay, famous for its typical products linked to tuna processing. Arrival at the port of Marzamemi and boarding on Gemini, underwater vision boat which will allow you to explore the seabed comfortably seated. On board you will find a guide that will explain all the marine life and the archaeological site of Roman columns, set on a backdrop of
about 7 mt. Continuation towards the East coast of Marzamemi for a bath next to the beach of San Lorenzo from the Caribbean Sea. Refreshments on board. Return to the port of Marzamemi and guided walk along the charming seaside village. Visit a workshop , where they produce the roe of tuna, tuna in oil , anchovies still using traditional methods. Lunch of fish in Portobalo Capopassero and return to the hotel . In the afternoon free time for shopping. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
